Our experience at GREEN ACRES IRRIGATION working with the hard, rocky earth forced us into using the Hunter I-20 stainless steel head for our residential rotary sprinkler. We feel strongly that this leap will last much longer than a traditional all plastic head. In fact, Hunter provides us with a five year warranty on each head. The stainless steel head does cost a bit more than the plastic, but we feel the benefits far out-weigh the small difference in price. Check it out-click on Hunter.

For smaller watering applications such as smaller sections of lawn, we use a mid-grade rotary head by Rain Bird called the 3500 series rotor. This head has quick, easy arc adjustments, attractive nozzles, up tp 360° circle rotation and also offers a three year warranty.

We use the Hunter PS spray head for even smaller sections of lawns, but mostly for flowers, shrubs, trees or specialty landscapes. Through experience, we find less clogging and nozzle problems with the PS spray than in other types of similar spray heads. The Hunter PS spray head works best for us and offers a three year warranty.

For valves, GREEN ACRES IRRIGATION uses the Rainbird DV100 valves, which again through experience, we find are most reliable. The DV100 valves are energy efficient and offer maximum reliability against hars sediment filled water. In fact, it has a bleed feature which allows it to be manually flushed free of dirt and debris after installation. The DV100 valve also has a three year warranty.

To control it all, we use the Hunter Pro-C digital controller. Its modular design gives the ability to add stations easily. The Pro-C is simple to program and easy to read. It will accomodate water restrictions and bans, pond or lake pumped water and most lower volume wells. The Hunter Pro-C has too many features to list.

Every system GREEN ACRES IRRIGATION installs comes with a rain sensor so no water is wasted in the rain. Also with every system comes a blackflow preventor which prevents any water in the system from coming back into the home.

All the products that are installed by us are the most reliable and durable we can find, right down to our clamps, which are stainless steel. they have been tested, changed, and tested again. We make our products stand the test of time.
